The Hyryder Stream Team is a group of individuals who help record and stream the audio and video of Hyryder performances, making it possible for the experience to live beyond the room.

The team is co-managed by Matt Vice of Naptown Sounds and Spencer James of SpenJam Media Group; together, they have decades of experience in audio/video production Matt & Spencer will provide technical support and hands-on training for individuals of all skill levels—whether you’re just getting started or already have experience.

Stream Team members are scheduled based on availability and may assist with a variety of roles depending on the show:

  • For most performances, the role is simple: set up a single camera and tripod, frame the shot, and hit record. From there, you’ll periodically monitor the equipment and wrap up by tearing down at the end of the night.
  • For larger performances, team members may work alongside a crew—guided by experienced technicians—to help execute a multi-camera production.

In general, being comfortable with computers/applications, electronics, having an eye for visual composition and an ear for music, along with paying close attention to details are all valuable traits. Just as important is reliability and a willingness to be part of a team that helps carry the music further.
